WHO PAYS FOR THIS?

The pharmacies! Pharmacies agree to discounted pricing for our cardholders (much like they do for insurance customers) mainly because they want our business in their stores. They not only give our cardholders fantastic discounts, but they also pay us a small transaction fee each time a cardholder processes a prescription through our network. The fee allows us to continue to operate, grow and save cardholders money. For each transaction processed using the TroopRx Card, we set aside a portion of the proceeds and designate those funds to be donated to Veterans Support Organizations helping our returning Veterans battle PTSD, recover from injuries, find employment, find housing, education and much more.

WHY DO PHARMACIES PARTICIPATE IN THIS?

Most pharmacies sell many other personal care products and food items. By driving more foot traffic to their locations, chances are you will purchase other items while you are there. This is great business for them and big savings for you!

WHAT MEDICATIONS DOES IT WORK FOR AND HOW MUCH WILL I SAVE?

The TroopRx Save & Give Prescription Card offers discounts on all FDA approved prescription medications. Pricing and savings will vary depending on the medication. Our savings are typically best when purchasing a generic medication and are typically lower than insurance company pricing. Our savings on brand medications, while still very good, are not as significant as with generics.

WHAT ABOUT MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Your medical and prescription information is not shared with us by your pharmacy. HIPAA regulations carefully cover such sharing of information in order to protect the consumer. TroopRx fully complies with HIPAA regulations. We do not sell your information to third parties.
