Jim’s Story
My name is Jim Donachie, founder of TroopRx. I am a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. I faithfully served for six years and was honorably discharged. I consider myself to be very fortunate to have transitioned back into civilian life relatively unharmed both physically and mentally. While not without some challenges along the way, I have transitioned into civilian employment and have been working with a company that was created to help Americans gain access to significant savings on their badly needed medications. I can probably be classified as a normal success story… Enter the military, serve, discharge, enter civilian life, find employment that allows me to continue to serve Americans and pick up where I left off before joining. Just as it was drawn up right?
Well, for an overwhelming number of our veterans, that is just not the case. It is a very different story for so many of our veterans that have served in the past and continue to serve today. Our soldiers have been at war in some fashion for over a decade now and it has taken its toll. Combat weary individuals who have sustained all levels of injury or are suffering from the mental effects of war. These individuals have sacrificed and suffered at the request of their country in order to protect humanity and our way of life. Every day, thousands of veterans are returning, transitioning or trying to figure out how to reestablish a life as a civilian after being exposed to a world many Americans will never know.
For a few years now, I have had a constant and burning desire to give back to those brothers and sisters in arms who have taken up the fight for me both before and after my service was complete. Those that are standing in my place so I can enjoy my freedom as an American civilian. So I started researching ways that I can give back and during my research was astounded at the depth and number of major issues my brothers and sisters are experiencing from their service. These problems include but are certainly not limited to the following: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), physical disabilities, depression, suicide, unemployment, homelessness, lack of job skills, long-term illness from exposure, and much more. After extensive reflection, I decided now was the time to take action and put my expertise to use to drive desperately needed funds into as many Veterans Support Organizations as I can. So I devised a program that combines my experience in providing access to affordable medications for all Americans with creating a consistent channel to generate funds to be funneled to Veterans Support Organizations all across the country serving multiple Veteran issues. Enter TroopRx. TroopRx is a FREE prescription discount platform that continues to serve Americans by allowing FREE access to significant savings (up to 85%) on their badly needed medications at 99% of all pharmacies throughout the United States.
With every use of the TroopRx Save & Give Prescription Card, TroopRx is paid an administrative fee by the pharmacies for driving the customer to their store. From that fee, we donate A portion of the proceeds from completed transactions to be used specifically to fund Veteran Support Organizations across the country. The key to success is widespread distribution and awareness of the program. My goal is to reach a level of distribution that produces at least 100,000 completed savings transactions per month which would ultimately equate to significant ongoing, consistent monthly revenue that will be set aside and directed to help our heroes recover, transition, get access to mental help, medical assistance, education, employment assistance, housing assistance and much more. I am on a mission to give back and help those who were not as fortunate as myself and I invite you to join me!

GOAL
TroopRx has a goal of reaching a transaction volume of 100,000 monthly savings transactions from the TroopRx Prescription Discount Card. This will equate to consistent monthly donations being made to Veteran Support Organisations across the country!
